jdmyers, I don't think the old XP Mode on Win 7 is causing any problems with Win 10. The XP Mode in Windows 7 worked using Virtual PC. In Windows 10, Virtual PC is no longer active and have been replaced with Hyper-V. Also, this tutorial is only using the XP Mode file to extract the .vhd from it and nothing else.
